I am an adult educator for the Mon Valley Even Start program. I want to thank you so much for your Tic-Tac-Toe math.  Several of my students have been struggling with basic math skills such as addition and subtraction. I began teaching them Tic-Tac-Toe math about a month ago and, not only has addition and subtraction become easier for them, they are now multiplying and dividing! These students range in age from 17 to 32. One of my students handed in her worksheets, multiplication of multiple digits, and for the very first time in her life she got a 100% on a math assignment. We both were in tears. She even said to me as she was leaving today that she thinks she can even learn how to write now.  The girls have begun to ask if they can do math. They used to complain about "doing" math, now they ask if they can "play" Tic-Tac-Toe math. It is a wonderful learning experience for them.

Dear Dr. Cooper,

I recently ordered one each of your teaching TicTacToe Math workbooks so that I could get a grip on what your method was all about. I had my first student "guinea pig" Monday. It only took a couple of minutes of explaining the patterns of even and odd number grids before he was flying through his math and even asking for more! When he left he said that he was "So glad to be shown this method, yet So angry that no one had ever shown it to him before now".

I never dreamed that it would be so easy to explain, or that a student would catch on so quickly. I realize not all of them will catch on that fast, but the experience was overwhelming for both of us.
