Tic Tac Toe Math continues to grow in both popularity and usefulness. Proving its significance, Tic Tac Toe Math is a training session Dr. Cooper frequently presents around the country, it has appeared on national and state educational convention programs presented by other teachers, and it is mentioned in Bridges to Practice, the National Institute for Literacy’s training program on learning disabilities. Furthermore, it was the focus of a practitioner’s inquiry report that was published in the Pennsylvania Adult and Continuing Education Journal. Its usefulness has expanded as an instruction technique for teaching fractions and percentages, and it is seen as a means for helping some individuals increase their self-confidence and reduce their test anxiety.
