TIC TAC TOE Math
|Tic Tac Toe Math continues to
grow in both popularity and usefulness.
Evidence of its popularity can be seen in the increased number
of training sessions that Dr. Cooper has done around the country, by
its appearance on national and state educational convention programs
presented by other teachers, and by its mention in Bridges to
Practice, the National Institute for Literacy’s training program on
learning disabilities. Additionally,
it was the focus of a practitioner’s inquiry report that was
published in the Pennsylvania Adult and Continuing Education Journal.
Its usefulness has expanded as a teaching technique for
teaching fractions and percentages and is seen as a technique for
helping some individuals increase their self-confidence and reduce
their test anxiety. Contact
Dr. Cooper for a reprint of the article Case Study: Tic Tac Toe Math.
